Papers, 1906 - 1927 [and ca. 1930s], re notice of a meeting of Acacia Lodge No. 94, A.F.M. [Ancient Free Masons] sent to Mr. L. W. Dickerson, 29 Oct. 1906; letter to Mary from Bob inquiring about summer plans and if she loves him; ten postcards to son Weyman telling of a new Sunday School teacher, inquiries of his plans and sending family news from his mother and sister. Illustrated postcards feature scenes in S.C. and elsewhere: Columbia sites pictured include the water treatment plant, Columbia High School, the Palmetto Building, and "Saluda Dam showing Lake Murray" illustrated with a conjectural "artist's conception of the largest earthen Dam in the world... to be completed... in the fall of 1930"; and a humorous cartoon card illustrated with a woman playing golf. Other S.C. postcards feature exterior view of the Flagg Hotel at Murrells Inlet (Georgetown County, S.C.); and a view of gardens and pond at Middleton Place (Charleston, S.C.) Also includes postcards with exterior views of the George Wythe Hotel (Wytheville, Va.); and drawing of the Davison Paxon Co. Department Store [ca. 1930], "Atlanta's magnificent new Temple of Commerce" [built, 1927, by R.H. Macy & Co.].
